Works in the field of the World Botanical EXPO which will be held in Antalya in 2016, is launched by Food, Agriculture and Livestock Minister Mehdi Eker, and Antalya Governor Dr. Ahmet Altiparmak through the destruction of the buildings that are discarded.
Antalya Deputies Menderes Turel and Huseyin Samani also attended to the Demolition Ceremony.
Then the 4th Meeting of the Board of Directors of the EXPO2016 Antalya was held.
Important issues was highlighted the meeting:
An important service is planned through the General Directorate of Agricultural Reform within the framework for the region, and the Expo area.
Works have begun for the EXPO area's master plan.
Expo area will be established on 1100 acres of land. Here, the buildings and everything that is constructed in this area will add value to Antalya These will be permanent structures will be used for 50-60 years by Antalian people.
The works will continue for selecting Flower icon for EXPO.
