The 19th International Antalya Conference on Security and Cooperation begins!



The 19th International Antalya Conference on Security and Cooperation, organized by the Atlantic Council of Turkey started in Antalya Belek Papillion Ayscha Hotel. 

The traditional Conference is organized by the Council since 1990 and serves as a respectable forum for the discussion of current transatlantic issues and related international developments by eminent Turkish and foreign participants.


This year, the President of the Atlantic Council of Turkey Omer Akbel, Deputy FM  Naci Koru, and NATO Deputy Secretary General Grabar-Kitarovic attended the Antalya Conference.

The main theme of the 18th Conference is "Turkey and NATO-60 years Together for Peace and Security".

Deputy FM Koru said that "Turkey has always supported the enlargement of the Alliance and played a constructive role in developing NATO’s partnerships"

Deputy FM Koru included "I would reiterate once again NATO’s continued importance for Turkey as we celebrate the 60th year of our membership”
