Antalya Convention Bureau's Fam Trip

With the support of Culture and Tourism Ministry General Directorate of Promotion, Antalya Convention Bureau (ACB), the West Mediterranean Development Agency (BAKA), the Antalya Promotion Foundation (ATAV), Turkish Airlines (THY), hosted the delegation consisting of representatives of Russian newspapers and radio about congress tourism in Antalya between 11 to 15 March 2013.

In this 4-day program, introduction to the historical and natural beauties of Antalya and congress centers was targeted. The Russian delegation visited tourist facilities for the examination of congress tourism.

Accompanied by an extensive program of Russian guests, Antalya Museum, Perge, Side, Aspendos archaeological sites were introduced.

During the program, with the support of Su Hotel, Cornelia Hotels, Gloria Hotels, Sena Transportation, Olympos Cable Car, ICF Airport, Anadolu Park Restaurant, Harem Cruise, Limak Limra Hotel, and Odeon Tours, and ANFAŞ, a successful  Fam Trip (promotional trip) of Antalya Convention Bureau performed.

ANTALYA PROMOTION FOUNDATION WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE ITB BERLIN FAIR

Antalya Promotion Foundation (ATAV) will attend to ITB Berlin (Internationale Tourismus-Börse Berlin) international tourism fair that is the world's largest tourism trade fair from March 6 to 10, 2013. The forty-seventh edition of the fair will be held this year. 

ITB Berlin is The B2B-Platform for trade visitors – an excellent opportunity to meet business partners and to do business. For all other visitors ITB Berlin is a wonderful possibility to discover the whole world within a few hours. 

This year, the main theme of the fair is culture and alternative tourism.

Antalya will be at the forefront in the fair with its alternative tourism potential!!!!

During the fair, HD quality Lycian Way DVD which is prepared by Antalya Promotion Foundation and bound by  the Governorship of Antalya will be promoted. 

In the content of DVD, there are also EXPO 2016 Antalya   promotional film, Antalya's endemic plant introductions flavors.

UNESCO has agreed to declare 2013 the year of Piri Reis on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of a map he drew up that included seven continents. Antalya Promotion Foundation pressed the Piri Reis's Map of World and  Piri Reis's Map of Antalya postcards, and share them with the participants of ITB Berlin.

With the theme of "Flowers and Children" EXPO 2016 Antalya will be the first EXPO of Turkey and within the scope of the alternative tourism, the Lycian Way which is in the list of the world's top 10 walking path, and ST. PAUL's Way's promotion will be provided by Antalya  Promotion Foundation.
