I'm behind the President of Antalyaspor

Murat Özgen
Throughout my career I always respect democratically elected people. If they get majority of the votes, it means that they deserve it.

The winner is President Gültekin Gencer according to the results of Antalyaspor Presidential Elections. Not to forget the presence of three candidates in Antalyaspor Presidential Elections.

Why do we choose a board of directors or a person?

The former president of Antalyaspor declared that his management will not continue to work for longer, or we did not like his management.

Both of them happened in Antalyaspor. The board of directors was forced to discontinue by those who do not like his management.

Gültekin Gencer, Antalyaspor President
They are not satisfied with the match results, the fiscal discipline of Antalyaspor, or tactics? No!

For their own interests.

Now today, at this point, nobody can say  'let him go' to the elected president Gültekin Gencer.

I'm putting out a very clear today, I'm the biggest supporter of Gültekin Gencer.

Because I am in favor of stability.

We should support him if we want to see a successful Antalyaspor.

Because I'm aware of what Antalyaspor needs today, "just support".

Murat Özgen

On weekends, We recommend you to go Antalyaspor football matches to have a really great time with your friends in Antalya Akdeniz University Stadium.

The Importance of Sports Infrastructure Investment in Antalya

Infrastructure of the teams as important as the infrastructure of the cities.  The issue is not just about the MP Antalyaspor, it is about the infrastructure of sport in Antalya.

What about infrastructure of MP Antalyaspor?

The progress is good but not enough. Have success, but no facilities250 acres of land in Yeşilbayır? So called new land in the region of Antalya, is actually a great project, its wide, far and near to the city, everything available, just waiting to invest.

1207 Antalya Sport Women's Football Club

We continue on the road with our infrastructure. From where we train our little girl, we're taking the right path to success. We do not spend big bucks like teams of Ataşehir, Konak Municipality, Trabzon, and Adana. We do not play ball, we're always playing football. We play football, we have taken goals from every angle nice, like expressions on the faces.

We have achieved the 3rd rank both the Stars Girls and the Young Girls category in Turkey. But despite this success, we don't have great support in Antalya. We need much support.

We will continue on our way with sports lovers in Antalya.

The 3rd Antalya Women's Summit

Violence shapes gender relations in multiple ways. Killings carried out in the name of honor are one of the most visible and lethal forms of gender based violence. In its less visible, more subtle forms, gender-based violence threatens the physical and emotional integrity of millions of women living in Turkey, and billions globally. Domestic violence especially that carried out by husbands comprises a “constitutive dimension” of women’s life.

We, the people of the Republic of Turkey feel proud of our glorious history. We say that Turkish women are granted the right to vote since 1934. In addition to this, in 1926, the new Turkish civil code passed. Under the new code, women gained equality with men in such matters as inheritance and divorce. Moreover, in 1935, 18 women deputies had chairs in the Turkish Grand National Assembly. As a percentage, they accounted for 4.5% of all the seats in the Assembly, one of the highest proportions in the world at that time.

Despite some advancements made by women in today’s society they are still affected by some challenges. Turkey is an interesting example, from the aspect of the position of women, because it is a country which is influenced by all the contradictions of globalization and traditions.

For this purpose, the 3rd Women's Summit will be held on Saturday, December 21 in AKM.

Women from different walks of life will  participate the Summit as a speaker.

Things to do in Antalya: How to take advantage of your time in Antalya

Antalya was until recently known as Turkey’s fastest growing city, only to be overtaken by Istanbul. It has been frequently called the ‘Turkish Riviera’ for its gorgeous Mediterranean coastline with long stretches of golden sand and aquamarine waters, upmarket shopping areas, rich history and culture and luxury hotels. Many tourists come from all around the globe to visit the sights of Antalya, so how should you take advantage of your time there?

If you want to see a lot of things and get around easily, the best time of year to visit the region is between March and June or September and November. Due to the Mediterranean climes, the temperatures can soar during the high season of July and August, plus families flock there on summer holidays.

The winters are cooler, protected from the chilly weather by the Taurus Mountains, but often are very wet. You’ll also need to base yourself somewhere central in order to be able to reach everything you want to see and do quickly and easily.

There are many hotels located in Antalya with spectacular views from the cliff edges, or the tiny boutique hotels nestled in amongst the Kaleici old town of Antalya. If you choose to stay here, take some time to wander the maze of streets and pop down to the harbour for a boat trip along the coastline where you’ll explore hidden coves and be offered freshly grilled fish.

Of course you’ll want to spend some time relaxing on the beautiful beaches of the Antalya region, but remember to take some time to visit a few other things that Antalya has to offer. Golf is something that’s very big here with a number of golf courses set against stunning backdrops situated in the area.

The rich history is one of the biggest draws of Antalya. The old town is surrounded by ancient stone walls made up of an old Clock Tower and Hadrian’s Gate, a series of Roman arches. Head a little way out of town to Aspendos, a stunningly well preserved theatre that dates back to Roman times.

If you’re travelling with kids, there are plenty of things to keep them occupied too. When they’ve tired of playing on the beach and taking part in some of the many water sports on offer, take them to Mini-City amusement park. In around 55 acres, it houses miniature models of buildings and architectural structures from all around Turkey, both ancient and modern. Marvel at the amazing replica of the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus and the Celsus Library of Ephesus.

Don’t forget to sample some of the local cuisine too. Turkey is famous for its mixed pot of tastes from Central Asian flavours to Mediterranean and Middle Eastern. Meze is one of the favourite dishes for tourists because it offers something to everyone’s tastes. But if you’d like to sample a local speciality, find a street vendor selling mussels stuffed with pine nuts or patlican dolmasi, a popular stuffed aubergine dish.
