Happy Victory Day For Turkey!

Turkey marks the 90th anniversary of its Victory Day!

On the 90th anniversary of the Victory Day, we celebrate one of the giant steps of the Republic of Turkey on the path to its independence!

The motivation behind Turkey’s success in keeping its unity even against world powers in the 1920s was the nation’s faith and belief in its freedom

Today is August 30, which has an important meaning for Turkish people. Streets are decorated with Turkish flags. People join this celebration by hanging Turkish flags or posters of Ataturk on their balconies or windows, above is a view from our balcony. Shop owners do the same. City buses and trams have Turkish flags on their windows on that day.

Victory Day (local name: Zafer Bayramı) on August 30 is a national holiday in Turkey to commemorate the victory in the Battle of Dumlupınar, the final battle in the Turkish War of Independence in 1922!

Happy Victory Day For Turkey!
