The Turkey leg started with qualifying rounds and golfers made strokes at 18 holes. The first day of the tournament passed by with the participation of world famous golfers like Melisa Reid, Sophie Gustafson and Carin Koch.
126 golfers from 30 countries contested at 18 holes. Italian Stefanie Croce made the best points on the first day
while American Sarah Kemp was second and Australian Finca Cortesin was
third. The golf course created occasional hardships for the golfers. The sole Turkish golfer of the tournament is 15 years old Yasemin Sari who completed her first day at 122nd position. 60 golfers will continue after 2 days of qualifiers and the tournament will end on May 8 with final strokes.
