The 6th Seedless Pomegranate Festival



Gazipaşa is a town and district of Antalya Province on the Mediterranean coast of southern Turkey, 180 km east of the city of AntalyaThe name Gazipaşa was given in 1923 by the founder of the Turkish Republic, Atatürk. 

The Sixth Seedless Pomegranate Festival is starting on Friday, October 19, 2012. The festival will last for 3 days. Gazipaşa's unique seedless pomegranates will be introduced along with entertainment in the festival.

October 19, 2012, Friday:
10:00 am: Republic Square - Festival cortege,
14:30: Conference: Prof.Dr.Mustafa Erkan (Pomegranate culturing and Marketing)
15:30: Prof.Dr.Mustafa Erkan-Sakıp Altunlu (Prickly Pear)
19:30: Music - Classical Trio in Concert
20:30: Show - Chinese Circus

October 20, 2012, Saturday:
10:00: Interview: Gazipaşa's Values
14:00: Pomegranate Competition and Award Ceremony.

October 21, 2012, Sunday:
Agriculture Exhibition
